Three sizes

Every size has the same EPYC threads, the same NVMe and the same network. You only choose how much.

Every plan includes DDoS filtering, IPv4 and a /64 of IPv6, and unmetered inbound traffic.

Threads nobody else uses

Most cloud servers share their CPU with whoever else lands on the host, so your speed depends on your neighbours. A Northdeck VDS gets EPYC threads reserved for it alone. The graph on the right is what that looks like: steady work, and no time stolen by anyone else.

Questions about VDS

What's the difference between a VDS and a dedicated server?

A VDS is a virtual server with its own reserved CPU threads, memory and NVMe on a shared machine. A dedicated server is the whole physical machine, with nothing else running on it. A VDS is ready in under a minute; a dedicated server within hours.

How fast is a new VDS ready?

Under 60 seconds from the moment you order. You get an email with the address and can log in as root with your SSH key.

Can I use my own operating system?

Yes. Pick Ubuntu, Debian, Rocky Linux or Windows Server, or upload your own ISO in the client area.

Are there setup fees or contracts?

No setup fees. You pay the monthly price shown, which already includes DDoS filtering, IPv4 and IPv6, and unmetered inbound traffic.

What happens if my server is attacked?

Filtering is always on, so attacks are dropped before they reach your server. There's no extra charge when it happens.

Can I manage it from the command line?

Yes. Link the nd command line to your account and start, stop, restart or check any server by its ID.

A VDS takes less than a minute. Pick a size and a place, and it's yours.
